Hmmm Personally I think Cold Front would be a better name for Blizzard Guardian aka Pipsqueak, AKA Winter Soldier.

Cold Front has enough villainous connotations for when he's the brainwashed opponent of Captain Equestria, and not so down right evil that it can't be a hero name. Putting Guardian in the name makes it hard to see a character as a villain (though not impossible of course.)

Well, if you know about comics you surely have heard of the Red Guardian, the soviet counterpart for Captain America and he is technically a villain. Anyway I can't say I'm always right on my name choosing so I'll take your suggestion in consideration, but tell me, what's the meaning behind 'Cold Front'?

Hmmm hadn't heard of him, but that's why I through in the "(though not impossible)" in my original statement. In any case "Cold Front" came to me because while a Cold Front is mainly a meteorological term when a colder mass of air pushes out a warmer one, a Front is also a military term for a military frontier between two armies. So Cold Front would in this case imply something of a one pony army that has a cold nature. In Equestria it would be particularly menacing given the story of Hearth's Warming where it was the Cold of the Windigos that nearly wiped out Equestria's founders. Also while you have proven me otherwise guardian implies a less pro active and more reactive character, and while Winter Soldier was reactive for some time as a hero, more often he's a proactive force. Also "Cold Front" connotes not only with the character being colder but that he can handle it, much as Winter Soldier does (The term was originally used in investigations of war crimes committed by US troops in Vietnam and was coined based on Thomas Paine's "American Crisis" where he spoke of "summer patriots" who only stuck with the Continental Army only when things were going well, Winter Soldiers, put up with the Army through thick and thin), Blizzard Guardian, doesn't have the innate enduring connotation of the others.
